Equations was founded in 1998 by Lalit Mahajan and Mita Dixit, two professionals with an extensive experience in corporates and management consulting. Their objective was to help entrepreneurial ventures and family businesses grow and stay competitive.

In 20+ years of our journey, we have grown and emerged as a prominent advisory company with deep insights and a wealth of experience in the family business domain. Genesis

Equations started as a boutique management consultancy to help small-and-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)to grow and scale-up. We worked with entrepreneurs and leaders on strategic marketing, planning, and organizational development.

2010

Expansion

In 2010, we added family business consulting services to assist owner-families, founders, and successors. We helped in creating a culture of governance, resolving conflicts, planning succession, and professionalizing the work culture.

2018

The Next Level

In 2018, we formalized our business as an advisory company to guide families and promoters-driven companies. We offer holistic services and execution support on growth, governance, generational transition, ownership, and wealth strategies.
